Nicholas Csergo

I am a long-term NHS campaigner. I joined the Labour Party in 2012, in response to the Health and Social Care Act. I’ve sought, as a Labour activist, to help inform and engage our party members in defending the NHS’ founding principles. I am proud of contributing to the SHA’s role in helping determine Labour policy in 2017 to restore ‘Bevan’s NHS rather than Thatcher’s NHS’. As a Labour affiliate, I am convinced the Socialist Health Association can be the Party’s “critical friend” that helps push these values and makes sure they are applied in practice.
