However, the truth is that when you touch your face with a dirty hand, you will find more problems arising out of nowhere. Breakouts usually happen due the transfer of bacteria from your hands to your face. Dust and germs act as a fuel to the blemishes that are already there in your skin.

Exfoliation or scrubbing eliminates all dead cells from the surface of your skin and the pores also clear the skin from the stubborn blackheads and whiteheads. Regardless of the type of skin you have, you should always exfoliate once in a week to bring back the lost complexion of your face. But make sure you don’t use an exfoliator that is too rough for your skin.

DON’T opt for hot water bath

Although hot showers are immensely soothing and relaxing, they are advised as least ideal for your skin because it rips your skin off the natural moisture balance and removes all the natural proteins and oils from your skin which usually keeps it healthy. When this happens, your skin will suffer from dryness, inflammation, itching and redness.

DO eat the healthiest foods

Just as what you apply on your skin is important, what you put inside your stomach is equally important. In case you’re someone who loves junk food or alcohol or cigarettes, achieving that perfect skin is a distant dream. Instead of the bad things, treat your body with vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin A and other vital antioxidants.

Hence, when you die to have flawless skin, make sure you follow the dos and don’ts of basic skincare given above.
