Socialist Societies

The Socialist Health Association is one of the Labour Party‘s affiliated societies.  We pay an annual affiliation fee to the Party  which entitles us to participate in the Party’s affairs as an organisation, just as Trades Unions do.  Our members are not obliged to be members of the Party. There are other similar  groups which are not affiliated, mostly because they are too small, some united by ethnicity and some by a political cause.
The Co-operative Party BAME Labour and Labour Students are not  affiliated in the same way.
