Her conclusion is that NHS funding needs to grow slightly faster than GDP. 2.9% a year compared to 2.3% a year forecast increase in GDP.

NHS funding must do everything it can to keep up with demand. As I have said before. The NHS is for the people who have paid into it. No I would not say that a person taken ill or involved in an accident should not receive NHS treatment. those who enter this country for the sole purpose of obtaining free treatment must be turned away
