The Labour Party has attempted to open up a debate about the relationship between patients and the health services. This page attempts to illustrate some of the issues. This is not a very balanced view of the medical profession, because doctors who get in the news tend to be either very bad or very good. We also know that doctors are not the only significant health professionals, but they still get most of the attention. In case you get the wrong impression please be assured that we do know there are many excellent doctors and many of them are our members. And medical humour is not to everyone's taste either.
