The New Deal on Patient and Public Involvement

This event is designed for members of Patient Forums and people who want to be involved with the future of Patient and Public Involvement in England. It is intended to try to produce a response to the House of Commons Health Committee who have announced an enquiry into:

Dr Richard Taylor, MP for Wyre Forest (Independent Kidderminster Hospital and Health Concern), a member of the Health Committee has agreed to speak at the morning session.

Alyson Morely from the Democratic Health Network who will talk about Health Scrutiny Committees and their possible relationship with Local Involvement Networks. Alyson's presentation

Dr James Munro will be giving a demonstration of the website Patient Opinion and discussing how this sort of technology might be used by Local Involvement Networks. James's presentation
