SHA Annual General Meeting

Our AGM is to be held on Saturday 8th March 2008 at Wesley's Chapel, City Road London, starting at noon. Old Street is the nearest station.

This determines the policy of the Association according to our constitution.

All members are welcome.

6. Constitutional Amendment:

Insert 6 (g)Central Council may grant Honorary Membership or Life Membership to persons who have contributed substantially to the work of the Association.
And remove from 6(c) the words: “, and may approve a special subscription for Life Membership.”

9. Resolution:

The changes to junior doctor training have meant that a national strategy to deliver the 98% A&E 4 hour standard is compromised - this standard was introduced prior to doctor training changes and as a consequence the service delivery is impossible within tariff.

11. Proposed calendar of meetings of Central Council 2008: July 5th (Tredegar), 20th September (Manchester) 2009: 10th January, 21st March.

Central Council meetings normally take place at noon on Saturdays at Wesley's Chapel in London and last for no more than 3 hours.
